ABOUT ME
I'm Vaidas Tamošiūnas, a professional musician since 1995 playing cello in St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra
in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Having an extensive background in music helped me to develop a special and subtle sense of photography art as another side of my life.
Most of the photographs displayed on my page are created using alternative techniques such as Pinhole and Solargraphy.
EXHIBITIONS
In 2017 I participated in group exhibitions in Rumšiškės and Kiev.
In 2017 I participated in the alternative photography exhibition in Kaunas “Pinhole/ Camera obscura #2”.
In 2021 I earned a diploma at the pinhole festival in Brzeg, Poland.
In 2023 I organized two exhibitions of solargraphic works “Saulėrasčiai” at the Vilnius “Šofar” gallery and the Jieznas Cultural Center.
In the same year, an exhibition of pinhole works “Light and Rhythm in the Images of Vilnius” took place at the M.K.Čiurlionis House in Vilnius. In 2024 I organized exhibitions in Vilnius, AP Gallery and Tauragė Regional Museum “Santaka”.
